I hate to keep using work as an excuse, but I've pretty much consistently been working 50+ hour weeks and I simply have not as much time as I would like to draw. And unfortunately, when I am able to find the time, I've been having great difficulty actually doing it, as it seems I've managed to work myself into a bit of an art-block. It's been years since I've felt this directionless with my art, and it's quite frustrating. I have a lot of ideas, but things just don't seem to be coming out right and even when they do I'm just not happy with the result (as little sense as that actually makes). I'm still drawing whenever I can and trying to push through it, but so far I'm still having trouble actually finishing anything.
But anyway, I would like to stress that this isn't a cry for attention or anything like that; I just wanted to offer an explanation as to where I've been the past couple of weeks, and where I may be for the next couple weeks as well. As annoying as it is right now, I'm confident I'll eventually bust out of this creative-funk and my art will be better for it! As always, thanks so much for reading and bearing with my nonsense. I will return soon. AND WITH A VENGEANCE
-Cody
