Unreliable: 8.16.11

I seriously have no idea why this could possibly be, but unless I have my computer sitting on top of a milk crate when I draw, it is absolutely impossible to draw a steady line. When I try to write on the tablet, the cursor shakes wildly about and randomly clicks by itself, often times drawing unwanted lines all over the place.
I've tested this out on a number of different surfaces and the only other one that worked as well as the milk crate was a round little metal table. It also starts working fine again if I unplug my computer, but since my battery is busted I can only get like ten minutes of usage out of it.

I guess this is what I get for relying on technology so much XD
